Our carob tea is hand pestled from whole gently roasted carob pods; the pieces are crushed into variable but sizeable pieces, so as to produce a tea which is rich in flavour and retains the nutrients. 150g bags are certified organic, and the larger Creta Carob tea is also produced organically but not certified.
To make the tea place a few pieces in the cup and steep in boiled water for several minutes before drinking. For a more potent beverage, you can boil the pieces in water, and leave them to soak. This can also be served iced, as a delicious cold drink.
