KretaRaki — Straight from the Stamatakis Family Distillery
Produced for us by the Stamatakis family, founders of the traditional DS Distillery in northern Crete — one of the few distilleries on the island that grows, harvests, distils, and bottles its own raki entirely on-site. What you get in every bottle is a spirit of complete provenance, made fresh each autumn with no compromise.
KretaRaki is a pure double distillate of grape marc — the skins, seeds, and pulp left after pressing grapes for wine — crafted in the tradition of Cretan filoxenia (hospitality). Similar in style to Italian grappa, but with the bold, sun-drenched character of Crete.
Grape Varieties
A blend of indigenous Cretan varieties: Soultani, Tahta, Liatiko, and Kotsifali — all grown on the distillery's own vineyards.
How to Enjoy
