Our Fir Tree honey comes from the Taygetus mountains in Sparta, where the bees feed on the resin from the fir trees - a species of tree which is unique to this region in europe. The result is a thick caramelly honey, even thicker than the Pine honey, with a slightly bitter-chocolate finish.
Absolutely delicious just on its own, or with Greek yogurt, icecream, desserts, or in hot drinks. Spreadable on toast. But you can also simply eat if off the spoon!
